How can I book?
You can book directly online.
You’ll be asked for 40% of the rental amount as a deposit.
I understand that my rental
will only be available from 4pm.
However, is it possible to arrive earlier?
Yes, you can enjoy our swimming pool, bar/restaurant etc.
In addition, if your rental is ready in the meantime, you can use it. If not, you’ll have to wait until 4pm.
Upon arrival, do I have to provide a deposit?
Yes! For rentals, you’ll be asked to provide a deposit of 300 Euros payable by cheque or card to ensure that the rental equipment is respected, as well as the cleanliness of the accommodation when you leave. The campsite will check your rental after you leave. Deposits via cheque will be destroyed and bank card numbers will be automatically erased, minus any deduction for any missing object, cost of damage and/or cleaning fee, for which a fixed price is agreed at 50 Euros.
For camping pitches, you’ll be asked for a deposit of 10 Euros for the key pass for your vehicle, which will be returned when you leave and once you have returned this key pass.
Can I pay for my stay
using holiday vouchers?
The campsite is certified ANCV, so you may pay with holiday vouchers.
In addition, we also accept bank transfers, cash and credit card (Visa, Master Card etc.)
Do I have to make an appointment for our departure?
The inventory for rentals is carried out by our cleaning staff after your departure, so you don’t need to make an appointment.
In any case, you must leave before 10am.
Are sheets and towels
provided?
Sheets and towels are not provided. However, they are available to hire:
- Kit for double bed (1 sheet + 2 pillow cases): 12 Euros
- Kit for single bed (1 sheet + 1 pillow case): 10 Euros
- Large towel: 4.00 Euros
- Small towel: 3.00 Euros
Can I hire a cot
and/or a high chair for a baby?
Yes, for 2 Euros per day for the bed. We highly recommend booking in advance!
We don’t have any high chairs available for hire.
Are the pitches for
vans/ camper-vans/ caravans
by the beach?
Since the land is steep, vans / camper-vans / caravans cannot circulate in the lower part of the campsite. The reserved pitches are marked with a letter “V” on the campsite map.
Is the campsite accessible
to people with disabilities?
The campsite has been arranged to allow people with disabilities to stay at the campsite. However, the land is steep, and not all the pitches and rentals have disabled access. The beach can be accessed via a steep path. People with disabilities are asked to contact the campsite by email or telephone before making a booking.
Are the rentals equipped with a television?
No, the rentals are not equipped with a television.
Are the rentals equipped
with air conditioning/heating?
Some of the rentals are equipped with reversible air conditioning, to cool or heat the accommodation:
- The Mobile Homes
- The NOUMEA chalets
- The TORONTO chalets
- The STELLA chalets
- The PLEIN AIR chalets
The “Classique” and “Classique plus” chalets are not equipped with air conditioning or heating.
Can my dog stay
in the rental?
Yes, subject to a fee of 5 Euros per day and as long as the dog isn’t classed as a category 1 or 2 breed, i.e. attack dogs. In addition, it needs to be kept on a lead inside the campsite and be accompanied outside to do its business. The dog should not be left unattended under any circumstances. Dogs are not authorised in the pool area.
I was thinking about pitching a tent
next to the rental, is this possible?
No, this is strictly forbidden.
You can book a caravan or tent pitch.
Are barbecues authorised?
Only gas barbecues are authorised. Wood charcoal barbecues, as well as all electrical cooking devices (barbecues, planchas, etc.) not supplied by the campsite, are strictly forbidden.
What are the opening times
of the swimming pool?
The pool is open every day from 10am to 7pm.
In July and August, the pool is open from 10am to 8pm.
Is the pool heated?
The pool is heated throughout the opening period, i.e. from 29 March to 5 October of each year.
Are swimming shorts allowed?
No. For hygiene reasons, only swimsuits/swimming trunks are accepted in the pool.
Is the pool supervised?
No, there is no lifeguard. However, in July and August, a pool supervisor is present.
Can we bring shoes
into the pool area?
You must go through the footbath. There is a place to leave your shoes at the entrance to the pool. You may bring your shoes into the pool area if they are kept in a bag.
Is entertainment available
throughout the season?
We only offer activities in July and August. These are designed for younger and older audiences!!!
Do you have a children’s club?
No, but there is a play area for children (bouncy castle, multisports court, slide, etc.)
How can I access the beach?
L’Esplanade Campsite provides direct access to Campitello beach. You can walk there from the pitches. The rentals located in the lower part of the campsite are very close to the beach, and the rentals in the upper part are around 500 metres from the beach.
What does the shop offer?
Is there a supermarket nearby?
The shop provides convenience goods for the campsite guests, but it cannot replace a supermarket. For more choice, you’ll find supermarkets in Propriano (10 minutes by car).
Can we buy bread and pastries?
We have a fresh bread service. Bread and pastries should be ordered the day before.
Is there a launderette in the campsite?
Yes, in each sanitary block, you’ll find a launderette area.
At the reception, you can buy tokens for the washing machines with detergent (€6.00). You can use your own detergent, but the token is still €6.00.
Does the campsite have a wifi service?
Wifi is available in the bar/restaurant area and in the campsite’s pool area. To access it, you need to connect to the campsite’s wifi network (Wifi Esplanade). You don’t need a password. This service is free of charge.
